Hi, I'm Alexis (aka, lexie)

I'm so happy you're here ☻ I am from Rochester, NY, and just graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton. I have created this portfolio to showcase both my experience, as well as my web development / software development skills. I was a member of the Society for Women Engineers (SWE), the website technician for Flyer News, a student ambassador in the department of computer science, and played intramural soccer. I am a skiier, avid reader, country music listener, Buffalo Bills fan, lake lover, and find the most joy in surrounding myself with the people I love most!

Like I said... I just graduated!

Like many of my peers, I am on the hunt for a full-time job! I am interested in software engineering, or any similar related roles. I would love to connect with you! (see LinkedIn above)!

Software Engineering Intern
May 2024 - August 2024
Delivered Test Data Management solutions, an application that creates test data for all customer-facing CAT applications. Developed Angular-based front-end components and contributed to full-stack tickets using JavaScript, HTML, and backend APIs.
American Honda Motor Co.
Talent Acquisition Optimization Co-Op
January 2024 - April 2024
Developed and executed a method for automating all reporting processes within Honda Talent Acquisition and minimizing current manual processes (for both companies, American Honda Motor and Honda Development and Manufacturing Inc.). Used Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within Excel to automate Excel reports. Also designed and deployed dynamic PowerBI dashboards for weekly TA data insights.
